Bulk sugar. Looking for it in 55 gal drums. Feb 17, 2023 · Does anyone have a source for bulk sugar? I typically buy from Walmart but didn't know if anyone knew of somewhere to buy 500-1000 pounds. When I first started making syrup it constantly made a sticky mess all over my range and the adjacent counter, but over time I've streamlined it, and now do all the mixing in the sink. Dadant was selling it for about 30 cents/pound delivered last year and have nearly doubled it this year. A 50# bag is going for $30. Aldi grocery stores will have 4 pound bags of sugar at under $2, they did last year. Thanks!
